Jefferson Leadership Students teach Martinez Elementary Students

For Read Across America Week, our Jefferson High School Leadership Students celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by reading "Horton Hears a Who!"

Happy Read Across America Week!

Yesterday, our Jefferson High School Leadership Students celebrated Dr. Seuss Day with Martinez Elementary students!

The Jaguars read "Horton Hears a Who!" to Kindergarten through 5th grade classes, and guided the elementary students through a Dr. Seuss themed literacy lesson. The elementary students loved learning from the high school students. And, we're pretty sure the high school students had a lot of fun too!

We are so proud of our Jefferson Jaguars for encouraging literacy in our young readers!
