  • This year, winter/spring weather could bring a delayed start for schools:  Colorado Weather

If severe weather hits Greeley this winter or spring, District 6 now has a 2-hour delayed start option to its response plans. This winter, the district could declare schools are open, schools are closed, or schools will be on a 2-hour delayed start. This option might be used if early morning weather and road conditions are bad, but are predicted to improve by mid-morning. This decision would be announced in the same manner as in the past: immediate updates on the district’s website and Facebook pages, notification to local TV and radio stations, and a recorded message on the district’s main phone number 348-6000.
