  • A cat of a different color is making Greeley Central greener!

    Greeley Central High School goes green with the “Green Cats” program.  Green Cats is a student-initiated group that has banded  together to help clean up their school and save some money along the way. Having already won the ACE’s Biggest Loser: Energy challenge in 2011, they have also gone on to save Greeley Central $2,333 through recycling and other conservation efforts.

I'm a Star Student ...

  • Eavenly Quirarte is a Star Student at Jefferson High School

    Eavenly Quirarte is a student at Jefferson High School who is very goal oriented and has a great work ethic. Her favorite class right now is Chemistry and she is looking forward to graduating early from Jefferson. Even though she’s still in high school, she’s also taking some healthcare classes at Aims Community College. After she graduates from Jefferson, she wants to continue to study healthcare at Aims. Her long-term goal is to do missionary work in another country.

  • Greeley-Evans School District 6 pays tribute to the community’s heroes and veterans

    On Veterans Day, November 11, local schools held a variety of events to honor military service members and other community heroes. Several elementary and K-8 schools offered free breakfasts to veterans. Brentwood Middle School’s band performed at the Weld County Veterans memorial service at Bittersweet Park, and Heath Middle School students lined the sidewalks outside school with flags and banners in support of veterans.
